x2 My banjo player hates that!
A fun song indeed. I'm just looking though the album cover and don't see a credit for the mandolin (nice picture of one though). Anyone know who the player is?
I'm going for the first time this year, so excited!
My 515 is holding up great after about 3 years of daily play. The fabric on the case is starting to come loose at a seam, but then it has seen more than it's share of airplane rides...
Welcome, Empire! I will be in KL on 27,28 Oct, for my day job. No where near a professional, but I do have my mando with me, and always fun to meet another player. Maybe I can hear you play?

My father never cared much for music, but my sons do. Both of them came over to celebrate with me this weekend, and one of the things we did was have a great jam. One of my greatest joys is that...
Awesome!
Mooradian made me a bag for my Backpacker, and it turned out great!
If you don't find what you're looking for, and want to go custom, try Mooradian (www.mooradian.com). They made a very nice gig bag for my Martin, and it wasn't too expensive. Has held up very well...
Backpacker is what I take. The sound may be a bit funky, but no worries about damage!
One word: Ripple
Heading off for 2 weeks in Asia Sat, and of course my mando is coming!
Nice, thanks Jim!
Real happy with my Eastman 515, and traded my old MK and about $800 for it.
x2!! Wish I was still out West - man o man!

I agree with the finish issues, the tight spots are a bit rough. But hey, that's part of what makes an import less expensive - and I'm good with that. (Still saving for the Weber btw)
As far as...
Now that's funny!
Very nice, thanks!
x2! Play and enjoy, and when it's time for an upgrade, shop elsewhere.
Exactly how I feel, especially w/ J74's. 3 days is just about right for them to settle in and lose the metallic sound.
Got my favorite seats, center of lower balcony, for Christmas. Can't wait!
