picked up one of these to give casein another try, and because american music supply had a $10 off $30 orders promo - "TEXT10", so basically got a free pack of elixirs with the pick.
unfortunately...

I'd say after the 3pm workshop.
I'll have a voight, a brentrup, and a brand new clark two point for people to check out. will be going down with the store stuff, so we'll have a couple gypsy's...

thanks steve-wish i knew about this sooner - would have saved me a TON of time last week.
also-got sidetracked a little looking stuff up and discovered someone trying to sell my old band's cd (now...

i ordered a one piece back from bruce for my voight. he sent it to dan without even being paid by either of us. i described to him what i wanted and he gave me four options. we went with this one:
hey josh,
the voight number five that we shipped to travis yesterday, is dan's most recent. 3 (mine) and 4 are here in brooklyn and dan has the others, with 2, the green one, as his personal...
ok -
my tad60 arrived just after that last post!
I must say, after some a/b'ing with a wegen tf140 and ts pick on a couple different mandolins, I am very impressed with this pick. It is quite...
anyone recall how fast their bc pick came? i ordered sunday and am still anxiously waiting....is it in the regular mail?
That number 2 is a beast for sure, and mine, number 4, is heading right that way too. It's always played like a dream, but now, at nearly a year old, it's begun to open dramatically on the bottom...
which bluechip pick is most like the wegen tf140? - it seems to be the tad or maybe the tp. hard to tell. also-should i go for the slightly thicker 1.5 or thinner 1.25?
what kind of mandolin? carved or flattop. what kind of music are you playing on it?
if it's carved and it was me, i'd stick to maple.
awesome. way to go guys. it sounds great.
when i was young, we could only afford a blue car...
mine came out fine. i think it looks clean and it definitely feels much faster than it did with the varnish, especially when playing outside or for extended periods.
