I don't know chords, and I really don't know how to take guitar chords and make them into mandolin chords. Tabs are the only thing I know how to work with, besides just watching someone play it out...

I was taught 3 songs by a preacher friend of mine just by looking at what he did and repeating it back to him. I am lucky though, and if I am in person with someone (versus looking at youtube videos)...
