Hey there, just sent you a PM with a great starter mandolin. :)
Thanks for finding it! I was wondering where I left that
I play a mean bowel back; the wife loves it!
No offense to John McGann, but stay away from his $24.99 instructional DVD. It's total garbage. It just goes from A-Z in mandolin techniques and does not focus on anything for beginners for longer...
That sucks man :/ The last time I got ripped off on eBay from a falsely advertised item the guy deleted his eBay account. I don't want this to scare you but I only trust eBay if I am selling...
I think a lot of people see it as either fashionable to scrutinize him or they're feeling inadequate in their own skill and see him as such a young prodigy they are feeling jealous in some way. I...
I feel like it's a riddle. It just doesn't seem like a human made the ad, more like a troll under a bridge.
Haha, if I tried that on my wife, she'd say "Mandolin's cost at least 20 times as much as my shoes! It's not the same!"
That's a pretty weird question..
I use em to cut cheese. You know, blocks of cheese? They work fan-TASTIC!
Me too. :)
I too share the same mentality of the OP. I was big into video games, and I decided that games were not improving my life at all; so I picked up the mandolin. I immediately fell in love with it. But...
I'd also like to know! I'm interested to see people's reasonings!
There's no way I'm gonna drive 5 hours to New York XD But thanks for the info, Ed. Also, I am corresponding with someone with an ad in the classifieds for a KM-254 (The burgandy one). I used to have...
Just go to sleep till it comes, that's what I did :)
Thanks for all the info guys, I really appreciate it!
But neither of them have any mandolins in my price range of the Kentucky KM-150 or Savannah SA-120, which is what I am finding around the vast majority of places. Thanks though.
Would you suggest going for the KM-150 instead? I'm not exactly a beginner, but I'm no where near intermediate. I'm looking for something that'll last me a while, and I'll be taking lessons...
Right, but I'm ordering online and I'm a thousand miles away from any place that I know of that has one..so :)
Cool. I had a Rover RM-75 (that I sold) so I'm excited to see what it will sound like compared to that. Any clips or videos that I've heard it sounds really great, I was just shocked by the price....
Guess nobody has this mandolin :(
Hello folks,
I'm in the market for another mandolin. I've got my eyes upon the Savannah SA-120 from the Mandolin Hut. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this little beaut? It's a...
What a terrible picture, and an even more terrible description! Seriously, who in their right mind would even consider purchasing this? This has Con Artist written all over the headstock, too bad...
I bought my mando from TMS a few months ago and I couldn't have had better service. I was contemplating between TMS, Mandolin Hut, FM, and Janet Davis. Everyone was very, very helpful but Dennis went...

Sorry for the quick and dirty, couldn't resist.
