Re: Clip on Tuners - finish damage?

First hand experience - yes, it will discolor the finish and the Martin decal under the finish. Take the tuner off when it isn't being used.

    Re: Consignment Ettiquet

Doesn't necessarily have to be signed. Was it discussed, any verbal agreement about the things you are concerned with? Did you mention that you would still be trying to sell it?

    Good word Allen!

    Re: New-time old-time

I agree. But, I know a few artists, songwriters, and others around the industry. The perspective I've been given is one of a relationship that feeds off itself.

Not every story is the same.

No disagreement about the culture for profit.

I do disagree with the idea that the corporate folks aren't devising ways to create a devoted following by how they manage the "product". No...

I appreciate the friendly discussion. No malice here either – at all.

Agreed. The process of cultural development (good or bad) is dependent on change. That “process” cannot be destroyed unless...

    Re: New-time old-time

Whether a culture can be ruined or not depends a lot on how you define "ruined" - or what you think constitutes "culture".

Don't miss the point. The subject I was dealing with - was, how...

Re: Find what you love and let it kill you.

Sorry. I thought the blog was a bit of self-congratulatory romantic crap.

I'm having a hard time imagining who it really helped? A truly driven artist doesn't need that kind of instruction.
