Maybe you could find folks who play what you like to play on craigs list....describe what it is you like to do and see if you can find someone who likes the same music.
Why can't you do duets on skype?
Must have been my guitar lessons that taught me how to hold the pick...when I picked up the mando I just used the same grip. It is very hard to change a habit that you've used from the start.
I've never used my thumb and 2 fingers on a pick, always just the thumb and index...
OK I'm working on this one. When I play Sorrento I have to use the pinky...I have a hard time when I am on the 3rd string playing fret 3, fret 5 and fret 6....now for these I am using middle index...
Thanks...thinking about it...I use wrist and some arm...but it feels like I really tense up when I do it. Is it normal to tense up more when doing something like tremolo? Sometimes it comes off half...
OK, when you do tremolo...do you move your arm or do you move your wrist...I seem to have a hard time doing tremolo on the fatter strings. I am confused about tremolo.

Get a simple song and practice it very slowly...would be my guess. Slow down and practice what is giving you a hard time. Good luck!

That book looks great but $24 is a lot of money...I also need tab for Torna Sorrento, an Italian song that is not in that book but in another book....I just bought some tab books cant' really afford...
