  1. What is the best time of year or season to sell a used mandolin?

    Just curious about selling used. Is it spring time. Christmas, Tax refund time. I would guess it would be the opposite for buying.

    I guess the installer didn't think step 5 was important. Step 5 is what mine needed. I adjusted it just as it says using vice and not on the mandolin. The angle was to low, nearly...

    I was moving some papers around my bench and this popped up.170866

    The tinkerer OCD kicked in. I pulled the tailpiece adjusted it . Then I checked the Cumberland bridge fit and adjusted the fit....

    I also have a Weber , but I'm getting that annoying click when tuning. Maybe like you said the nuts slots are not done correctly . It's a 2010 I just purchased so maybe someone tried to adjust them

    I know about using a pencil for lubing the slots. Anything else? Lithium or white grease? I see Stewmac has a grease $7.00 for .25 oz anyone try it?

    When he plays it he holds the fiddle in his right hand and the bow in his left hand. The E string is on the left and the G string is on the right.

    The fretboard is reversed. Top to bottom strings . That's why they have lefty books.
