Congrats. A video would be great.
Found Butch Click, Rockford, IN by pure accident. I got to pick the wood, make all the appointments and chose the finish. It was a woth while 2,350 mile road trip. Would I do it again, Yes.
Music Row and Rocky Branch near Maryville. Not far for the airport.
I got to pick the wood, and finish. Most important to sound is, Butch Click delivered a super BABY. Thanks Butch.
Thank you. I sent an email to Saga.
Anyone know how to date a KM-180s. Serial number 9901. I have searched everywhere, but have not been able to figure this one out. It is in fine condition, and my guess is around 10 yrs old.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Wear out lots of strings, be hard on the picks, in other words HAPPY PICKIN'.
Born and raised in Madisonville, TN (east TN). Retired Army, lived a lot of places, US and out of the US. I live in Las Cruces, NM. I still travel, but east TN is the super music mecca for me.
Well said.
Thanks. I love this tune. Sounds great with a resonator guitar and mando dual.
Good tune, good style.
Sorry for the flash, this was taken with an old phone camera. This is bookmatched birch, build by Thomas Flood. Good old time sound with lots of volume.
I am traveling thru your way this fall. I will give you a call and set an appointment for a mando set up. I know for sure I need a new bridge.
Here is the photo of Bob and Jane. Last time I went by the house and shop it appeared that Jane has moved. I have currently lost contact with Jane, but will continue to search and provide info on...
I personally knew Bob and his wife Jane. He lived in Deming, NM. What a down to earth guy who knew his stuff. He helped me with the neck on my Octave mandolin. I have a picture that I must locate...
This is the wife's favorite song.
Very nice Chuck.
I have a super bright red case from the mandolin store. Works great, especially on the motorcycle. I love the idea that there is a rubber seal on the lid.
Very nice.
Thanks Don, you just gave me what I needed to make up my mind.
Happy Thanksgiving Darrin. Be safe.
Just bought 2 picks from them yesterday. Look on their csutom page, that is the pick my brother, Bill Kirkland in TN, had made.
Thanks Chuck, I will make contact before I head that way.
Nice job Chuck. I was in TN this past Sept, taking care of my mom in her final days and trying to close the estate after her passing. Sorry I missed you. I did get a serious day of jamming at...
