    Collapsing top

    My Flatiron's (1979) top is collapsing, I have sanded the bridge bottom and it plays real well, but I know that is a temporary fix. What can be done?

    Electrifying a Mandolin

    I was wondering if anyone would comment on the pros and cons of having a permanent pick-up installed within the mandolin body. Is there any difference in tone when playing unplugged? Thanks, Pat
