Having trouble finding the quantity of 1927 Gibson Ferns.
Newest member? Did Tina Adair leave as I can’t imagine them having two mandolinists. I thought she was filling in that night as Tina wasn’t able to attend.
Watched a previously rerun on Circle Opry Livestream last night. Was very impressed by the mandolin player who I guess took Tina Adairs place on the show. I’ve never seen this gal before but man...
Thanks for the info, where yours listed?
I bought the instrument from a friend whose mom had it stored in the attic of her home in southern ,.ca. apparently the cold/heat caused a little drying out, thus the hairline separations. Would...
So sorry to hear this news as the last time I emailed Paul it sounded like his Cancer was under control and he was in good spirits. I met he and Robin in my Antique store in Carmel and took various...
Just picked up a #424 'Bacon' Amateur mandolin. Figure it's a 1922-23 w/ohc, cosmetically vg condition except for separation cracks due to shrinkage and fret board needing a slight reglue towards the...

I was at Wintergrass a few years back and handed Ricky my Gilchrist and asked him to sign it. He had his sharpie and was about ready to sign it when he noticed the headstock, we both had a good laugh...
What was that? Good grief that's bad and I mean bad in a bad way.....
That's just good stuff!
I have one in my store right now. Exquisite rosewood front and back.
Maybe not but attention to detail usually shows intent to produce a quality product.

Only available as a download?
Well, I guess if one could figure out tunes that tab/notation isn't available they could certainly figure out tunes that do have the same. Ideally one should take the time to learn to sight read but...
