How about "River of Jordan"?
Bluegrass performances put on by myself throughout the day, and a jam session starting at 12 PM EDT Saturday June 2nd; bring your instruments and come pick, or just drop by and listen. The shows and...
This one has opened up tremendously in the time I've had it. It's got a ton of punch and volume.
I'm pretty sure I'll be there on Friday, so I wouldn't be surprised if we end up jamming together.
Here's a picture of my beatiful Eastman 615. I've had it about 10 months. Bad picture, I know. I'll take some decent ones today or sometime soon....
A lot of people camp, but if you're like me, you just go for the whole day and then drive home. Of course, I only live a couple hours away, so that's no big deal. There are a lot of places to camp at...
Dang...forgot about that. Now I'll have to go there.
I think I'll be going the first Saturday, and Friday.
Just thought I'd let you know, we're having a bluegrass jam session and swap meet during the National Road Yard Sale, starting at 2 PM Saturday June 3rd on the west side of Dublin, Indiana. We are...
My personal opinion is that it doesn't matter what key a song was first done it. What matters is what sounds best.
I would say it's either Chris Thile, or as you suggested, Adam Steffey.

Thanks, mandodude for your detailed explanation. I will stick with the Medium strings. To Ken, my action is adjusted for the Medium strings, so that's not the problem. I guess it's just my weak...
I put a set of D'Addario J-74's on my Mandolin the other day. I love the sound, but I dislike having to press down hard on the strings because of the Medium gauge. Would I get the same sound I do...
I can't find the tab for Remember When, but I've figured out the intro by ear. It goes sorta like this:
# # # #T # # # # # #T
E-3-3-2-3-2-2---3-3-2-3-3-3-3-3-2-0---
# # # #T # # # # # # # # #...
Hmm...I've heard a lot about the Tone-Gard's, but I haven't got one yet. I think I'll wait until I buy my new Mandolin, and put it on there.
I started playing guitar in 2002, and it was my main instrument until I took up Mandolin in early '03. Never took lessons. In fact, now I'm giving lessons!...
Woo-hee, spudin! That Mando is purty! I'm gonna have to get me one of them there Epi's! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I don't have any experience with Rogue Mandolins, but the Rogue Amp I have is great. 50 watts, great for miking my Mandolin, Guitar, Banjo, or Vocals. Got it for $129. Do you know that Rogue makes an...
I want to buy a Hardshell case for my Mandolin that will protect it from sudden changes in temperature, and shock, at a low price What would you all recommend? TIA,

Brian

I am planning on recording a CD soon, so I have been looking at basic, digital 8-track recorders. The Boss BR-864 caught my eye. Does anyone own one? If so, what do they think? Does it make good...
First Quality is first rate! I've done business with them, and they are the quickest, nicest people I've ever dealt with. Can't beat their prices either!
