    There was also a mando-viola (10 string) with an A style body. That may be where some of the confusion comes from. I think it's part of someones personal Loar collection.

    Mathew Hiser of Bluefield, WV is the current mandolin player for CGC. He plays a Gibson F model but I'm not sure which one. I don't know for sure if he played on the recording.
