Thought a few folks would like this...I'm making mine the err...less labor intensive way that Old Wave Bill showed years ago here on the forum...lol!
V pick....that's the sticky ones isn't it?
What Don said...I needs to get this!
well....hummm...I like food & music...so its all good to me!
WOW...Im speechless...but I can still type!
Looks great! What type of guitar did it start life as? Has a kinda Applause looking headstock.
mine does the same thing...every once in a while it bugs me...I rounded it off some when I first lowered the action so it was a bit less of a issue. Im leaving it till I get my new frets on and see...
Looks - A+
Sound - A+
Talent - A+
that's enough for me!
Mine sez, "Play me more...I cost more than your work truck and you drive it every day!"
I have more wrecks on the mando too...:(
the beautiful K C Groves
Linton Kwesi Johnson = Independent Intravenshan
I loved it in the AG clip 8 when he talked about playing the B3 and how he'd just keep those keys pressed and zone out. His solos in Time, the Revelator is one of my favorite acoustic guitar solos...
Dang...Im at work and youtube is a blocked site...oh well at least the Cafe isn't!
different but nice...great job!
wow...sounds like a fun trip/move! The only advice I'd like to give is drive safe cuz your bound to hit some rough weather somewhere!
Ventura...here he comes!
haha...seems we are all drooling here waiting for the pic's...wait til he has trouble posting the soundclips....yikes!
sounds great, I'll have to get a copy of that soon. Im a big fan of Jimmy myself.

Neat!
yep...the Weymann mandolin instruments have the serial numbers on the end of the headstock. You might be able to find some dating info here...http://www.mugwumps.com/
Good luck!
