    I scrape some criss-cross grids into both sides of the Wegen wit the tip of a sharp knife to improve grip - if those get worn down or smooth just cut them in again. Grips fairly well.

    So, is this A2 a "real" snakehead? Don't they typically have different features - i.e. not usually a natural top finish, different trim details, etc? No serial number, no date - any guesses?
