IMHO, that '41 bone is the best guitar I've ever played. :mandosmiley:
It does, but it is still considerably cheaper. If you bought it and a $100 bear family set, you'd just have $120 instead of $200.;)
If you don't want to buy the bear family, you could get this box set. It's almost the same just without the big fancy liner notes....

Opps I miss read read your post. I thought you said 1500 not 5000. A D-28CW is a realy great guitars. I have one and am very happy with it.
Several people who come to the jams that I go to have Martin D-2r's and D-3r's. They sound good and can be had in the price range your looking at. Mabye even Less.
