I think they could have easily made adjustments on the fly depending on how well they could hear themselves. IIRC they had in ear monitors.

I havent played a "Loar" But I have played a few of the KM-1000s. Some were good and some were great it. But for the money I think I would go the used A route...but that has nothing to do with it....

Looks like an old belt to me...How can you even tell its a fender? And the shipping!!!! 6$ is an outrage.
If the string tension isnt on the soundboard then where is it going? And if there is no tension on the SB then how does it make it vibrate? I wish his explanation was alittle more in depth.
