    Mandolin and space travel

Okay, it is a guitar, but I must say, this makes the ongoing past threads regarding flying with your mandolin seem trite in comparison.

For me, it's both good and bad. As the owner of a four-location local music store chain, I'm tired of competing with the big online dealers with an extra 7% advantage, one of which blatantly...

Re: Should I get a Mandolin Stand?

Granted, the Mrs wan't all that thrilled with it, but I have mine hung in the Mando Room with a Grip Hands wall hanger:

Very happy with my strap button set up. Out of site, and weight of the instrument balances nicely!

    Re: Replacement for Rigel pickup

I never upgraded the pickup on my CT-110, but every mandolin I've had since then I've had a K&K twin installed. Best tone value out there.
  8. Re: Looking for an arm rest for a thicker mandolin.

I bought a Hill Country Stringworks armrest from Doug for my (deeper body) mandola with a request for a longer barrel a couple years ago. It worked swimmingly.
