    I also play both the challenge with the fiddle is your bow hand. If you take some time away your technique can go away pretty quick and you are back to sound like some stepped on a cat.

    Blues Mandolin Song Choices

    I attend a Blues Jam regularly and play guitar. I would like to play a a mandolin song from time to time. Any suggestion for songs that might work at a Blues Jam.

    I have had a few of the Pac Rim instruments and they can be pretty good and maybe all most need. I am glad I purchased my Weber there is a difference in workmanship and sound.

    As for the Mando shop in Tallahassee. I went there once, it was a very uncomfortable experience. He seemed to be annoyed that I was there. He has nice mandolins but is reluctant to let you play them....

    Everytime I sell something on CL these crackpots come out of the woodwork. I give them a curt response and they move on. As Scott mentioned above the verbiage is a dead give away.
