I have Bob W's simple songs (really good), and John M's book and CD. What I am looking for now are some good albums (new or all time faves) that put the OM out there in some / most / all songs. ...

When I use D'addario strings on my OM, I use J80s. I also use John Pearse 2280s and currently have GHS PF285's on. First time on the GHS and I like 'em pretty good.

I would be more than willing to try one if anyone wants to buy one and send it to me. :)

I am surprised no one suggested 'buy more mandolins, picks, tuners, books, dvds, etc' to become a real 'monster'? so buying all this stuff and reading the cafe 10 hours a day wont make me better?
