Thanks Clement. What's hey generally charge for setup?
Anybody have a tech or shop that they recommend in San Diego, particularly the North county area? I need to get set up done on a couple instruments.
If you can, try to go when Beth Patterson will be in town playing. She's an amazing musician, and her solo show is a lot of fun.
Great link Mike.
Love Lakes of Pontchatrain, but I'm from New Orleans so I'm a bit partial. It's on my to learn list, but my limited singing ability makes it a bit daunting. Any tips on it as a solo 'zouk tune??
Checkout Meetup.com, I go to some events there like the Poway Folk Circle and the S.D. Acoustic Musicians Collective, I play with a group on there called the Acoustic Minstrels and that's fun.
What are your go songs when it's just you. Fun to play, to sing, maybe ones people don't expect a person with this odd instrument to kick into, your campfire/coffee house songs?
And for my first post ever... Please change my name to Brent Baudean.
