Enjoy it Wiz! We vacation there most every year and love hiking in the park. Only good thing about the strip is the food and the jams we see.
Really enjoyed that Rengate. Kind of a mix of Metallica and Vai.
Really love that! I bought my wife a GS for Christmas a few years ago, and like playing it more than my own full size dreadnought.
Thanks all!
Carl, I'll make sure to fix that.
This was really just me testing out some mics and system setup, but my wife liked it, so I went ahead and put it on Youtube.
I've been playin about two and a half years and playin blues mandolin...
Looks fun!
This Christmas, the wife and I bought ourselves an Ipad. Its our first, so there has been a learning curve with it. Those who have one and moved from a PC to the Apple product understand what I mean!...
I'd say for a 4/5 string go with ball ends. But for an 8 string go loop.
Coprhd/Alex, I'd highly suggest giving a standard 4 string e-mando a try. I've been playing mine over the past 2 years and enjoying the heck out of it. Like the suggestion above, I enjoy the fact...
Too cool! I've been gathering up cigar boxes to make a tenor to go with the cigar box amps I've built up.... (and yes a cigar box emando as well).
Looks like the servers for both have been bombed...
Too cool as always Pete. Love to see someone with skill who is not afraid to do something unusual!
A post elsewhere in the forum by Pete, has me looking at guitarra baiana again. Wonderful little instruments with so much common DNA to our instruments.
This vid shows some of the original Pau...
Jim Ferguson, thanks for putting up that link of the trumpeter. As a trumpet player myself, I also play with a lopsided embechure (sp?). I always thought that I did because of my body's natural want...
Gorgeous as always Pete.
So now the inevitable question.... Will your vibrato unit fit an emando?
Well, my brother-in-law liked my first amp so much that my wife asked me to make him one for his birthday. Different cigar box, but the tone is good. Frankly, everything fit a little more cleanly in...
Jeff, is yours a 4 or 8 string? As for the going sharp issue, thats a setup issue, not an e-mando issue.
BTW, check out the emando portion of this site. Very helpful guys there, and I bet 1 out...
Super cool Ed. Very jealous on many levels!!!!
Jones, I mostly did 3d and pattern stuff. The Extreme Flight Chinn Yak is mine, as well as a few that used to be sold by Ohio Model Products and a couple indoor designs that were flown extensively at...
Fun thread! Like many others, I'm intrigued by finding the same common themes across this group.
Personally, I take things too far in every hobby and eventually beginning making some side money...
Gotta admit that it was more rock than blues, but it was still fun to watch.
That was good!
That is true Andrew, but the one I built goes to Eleven!!!:))
CelticDude, thanks. That is a Vox DA5 with my BluesBird. Own designed emando. Neck and pickup are from Moongazer, I modified the neck and built all the rest.
Where'd that bridge come from Pete? Stunning e-mando!
