Ooo, pretty! Thanks, relayed. ^_^
Bill:
The link is still good, I just open in another window and can see it fine. ^_^ Thanks!
Wow, you guys are good. Thanks! Now I'm all excited! I hope she goes for it - I want to hear it played! ^_^
(And if anyone has more to add, please do! Now I'm quite curious myself...)
So a friend of mine has sent me photos of a mandolin she found in an antique store and wants to know what it actually is, and whether it's salvageable as an instrument. The tag says "Avalon,...
To revive this thread, does anybody have any experience with the M-Audio Nova? I want a studio condenser mic but am on a very, very tight budget. Searching turns up a lot of reviews that are pretty...
I switched off D'addarios for similar reasons. I went to Martin 80/20 and (after testing other options) have stayed there, but you might try to the Martin SP phosphor bronze. The A and E are coated,...

I am not very fond of the D'Addario strings; they sound okay, but I had inconsistent behaviour out of them. I use Martin 80/20s with better results. I don't like the Martin SP 80/20s; they are very...
I play hard and have atypical skin chemistry. I'm happy if I get two weeks out of Martin 80/20s; I get less from D'addario. Martin SP 80/20s last longer but I don't like the initial sound so I stick...
