The tinkerer OCD kicked in. I pulled the tailpiece adjusted it . Then I checked the Cumberland bridge fit and adjusted the fit....

I also have a Weber , but I'm getting that annoying click when tuning. Maybe like you said the nuts slots are not done correctly . It's a 2010 I just purchased so maybe someone tried to adjust them
I know about using a pencil for lubing the slots. Anything else? Lithium or white grease? I see Stewmac has a grease $7.00 for .25 oz anyone try it?

When he plays it he holds the fiddle in his right hand and the bow in his left hand. The E string is on the left and the G string is on the right.
Well folks I'm not sure what to say. I know he has left handed guitar books. I guess he need help with the cords. I don't know. Like I said it's not for me. He just bought an inexpensive lefty fiddle...
The fretboard is reversed. Top to bottom strings . That's why they have lefty books.
Please post some links or sources . He's starting again at 85 years young.
