Hello to all. So I have an old 1908 Gibson A that has some flattening of the top under the bridge. My question is this...how can I tell if the brace is loose? I tried to wiggle it with my finger a...
Sorry...non adjustable indeed. Thanks for the tips. It is not reversed as the first reply suggested. I switched it around and this indeed compensated for the height difference, but the string spacing...

This story brightened my day considerably. Thanks for sharing.
If not the OP, it may help me. Thanks!

Oh goodness me! Thanks so much for turning me onto this stuff. I now have a wee bit of direction in my newbie mando learning journey.
This was my first "real mandolin", and I could not be happier. The tone is sweet and they are just all around good little mandos (granted, I am pretty wet behind the ears mandolin wise, but thanks to...
Thanks for the warmth everyone1 And nice to learn of another Aikidoka hanging around these parts, Greg! Happy New Year to you all.
Hello everyone. I am a new member and new mandolin player and I really appreciate this site and the wealth of knowledge and the variance of opinion that is brought to the table. I've learned so much...
