My 4-string sounds really good through my...
I use Fender 351 Delrin picks (0.60 mm) on my 4-string solid-body. But I seem to wear down my picks really fast. I do play lots of rhythm on it.
I really like the picks except they only last for...
I've got a Ryder humbucker and single coil on my emando (built by Ron Lira). They sound great.
I use a Fender Blues Jr that works quite well. Fender Hot Rod Deluxe is good too. Especially if you want to play with some dirt.
I've got a K&K internal on my Breedlove, and it sounds really good. It is possible to make it feedback if you point the speaker right at it, but it's never really been a problem.. I run it through...
I've got a Blues Junior that I'm found of. Hot Rod Deluxe is also very nice.
I love it!
I often use two. My Breedlove and my solid body electric. That's two completely unique things though. I can see wanting to have an f-hole and oval hole available. I don't have an oval hole yet, so...
My band has played this a couple of times. It's a lot of fun.
I've been waiting in line at KFC...
I recently purchased an FF and I love it. Great tone and plenty of volume. Very good playability. The wider nut and thicker neck took me a little while to get used to, but it feels very comfortable...
Love it!
That's hilarious. Now my wife wants a mandolin. The kitchen utensil, not the instrument.
Thanks. My 10 minutes of Googling apparently wasn't as productive.
I think Coca-Cola commissioned quite a few Norman Rockwell paintings, so it's likely that this one was commissioned by them as well.
Last week, I went to the The World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta while on vacation. I stumbled across this Norman Rockwell painting complete with coca-cola and a lady playing mandolin.
Does anyone know...
The tone, the versatility, the fifths. I love the sound of a really good tremolo...
I used the Baggs Gigpro for a while. Now I'm using an ART tube pre-amp. I like it quite a bit better. Really warms up the Fishman piezo pickup. Less expensive too.
Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous.
Absolutely beautiful
I had two tickets to see them last November. Then I ended up having to take a business trip to London. My plane landed back in Wichita about halfway through the concert....
Beautiful! Great work.
Came across this video on youtube today of Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich.
Very interesting way to hold the mandolin...
I bought it when it first came out maybe two years ago. I had been playing about two years at the time.
It helped me with some new ideas for rhythm playing, as well as some new playing...
I've been pondering it, but they're rather expensive.
If you get one, let us know what you think.
