Hello,
I was wondering if anybody knew of any good online instructions on how to change the strings. I have never changed them before.
Thanks
Thanks guys for all the great info and inspiration. I checked out the CoMandocrucian Exercise Program and I printed out the first lesson. I don't know Soldiers Joy, so my first assignment will be to...

I have been practicing with my mandolin for about a year now. It was my first instrument that I ever played. Between a couple of lessons and books I have managed to learn a few melodies, Golden...
I have a Tacoma M3E, which I love. Tacoma/Fender are still making the M1 and M3 mandolins, but the list price has increased by quite a bit.

The DVD I ordered is Learning To Play The Blues Mandolin by Steve James. I forgot to mention that in my first post. Thanks for the reply Johnny.

I have Sirus, so I can't comment on XM. The Bluegrass channel on Sirus is very good. I also enjoy the "Folktown" channel.

I am just curious if anyone else is going to this festival.

Thanks Hans, I thought it might be high. Maybe on wednesday when I'm off I'll take it to the shop for a setup. I just hope I can get it back the same day. Otherwise I'll have Mando withdrawals. On a...

For anyone who is interested:
I noticed that Tacoma's website is back up and updated. Both the M3 and M1E are listed, and the list prices have gone up since Fender bought them.

Thanks for the info Scotti. I have searched the web, and I have not found anything. If I was good enough I could probaly figure it out by ear, but being a newbie, that is not easy for me.

My musical tastes usually lean towards Bluegrass, but I really like the Mandolin accompaniment on Alan Jackson's Remember When. Does anyone know, or know where to find tablature or sheet music for...

From a fellow Tacoma M3 owner, welcome back Richard. Spruce, since Fender acquired Tacoma they only have the M1E listed on their website. Same design, but mahogany back instead of maple, different...
Tim, I wish they would have gone ahead with the plans of the carved top mando also, but I guess since Fender has acquired them that plan is probaly gone.
