Re: Singing...with or without an accent?

Bluegrass has dedicated followings in all English speaking countries. Just as the method of Bluegrass Mandolin playing has to be emulated thus the 'texture' rather than the accent of the songs has to...

    Re: Amplification

PS - I have bigger Orange and Behringer amps for Bass and Guitar, Pocket Rockets for playing in the wee hours - more slimming than snacks. Boxes, Wahs etc. - but this Tino is very impressive.

Is there a Strad-o-lin 'time line'?

A few days ago I bought a well used Stradolin (even wear all up the frets but enough brass left for me). It is a deep brown and seems to be made of bubinga (or a similar tropical tonewood). The...

    The US$199.99 8-string solid e-mandolin?

I have been reading the electric mando posts (good advice such as why to consider a 4-string rather than an 8) in solid body mandolins. I have mainly looked at Eastman Mandocasters and Mandobirds -...

You are a bass player and I assume you mean bass guitar. Eastman's Mandocaster and Epiphone's Mandobird VIII are solid body 8 stringed mandolins. Nothing strange for an electric guitarist. They hold...
