Has to be a cafe member. I have a vintage cigar box I've been hanging onto for years waiting for the right mandolin neck.
I'm speechless ...
uhh
I live about 45 min from Ozark. I'd love to have a chance to see and play this musical marvel. I'd just hate for one of my friends to see me with it.
I have a mandolin neck I've been hanging onto waiting for the right cigar-box - full of Cuban cigars...
Hey, he's got a bid already. I have a feeling if it goes over a hundred, he might make #2.
:)):grin::))
So I guess no-one has noticed that Elderly Instruments has carried these boxes for a while. Usually there are about 4 listed; now it's just this one: http://elderly.com/new_instruments/items/CBM1.htm
I guess SOMEONE'S buying them.
I think it's kinda cool looking! I wonder if it's playable! LOL! Would look good on my wall. Would fit in with the rest of my decor! :grin:
That is no cigar box, you have to read the description as written by the maker, it is a hoot.
I would SO much like to try that out. I enjoy his humor and style. Well done, whoever did it!!!
That is the best description ever. I'd buy it if I get an autographed copy of the listing with the ... thing
Poop, that seller's just an amateur. Heck, here's a guy who evidently does that sort of thing for a living, and has quite an eBay following, to boot. Read his feedback - people love 'em! Cigar box guitars (and necks/fretboards for DIYers), ukes, dulcimers, mandos, 'dolas - and he posts high-res pictures, as well as video soundclips!
No commercial interest, of course. :)
