It's worth asking I think....does anyone have sheet music, etc. that has some (all or many) Mandolin Scales on it that I can print off and play them?

Do you mean tablature?
Yes, Brent, I'm sure that would do it....I'm trying to follow up on some of the suggestions given with my post of writtin my own tunes. I will buy a book of some sort if I have to when I get to the city on the weekend (nothing like that where I live)....but in the meantime if there is such a thing that I can print, well, why not.
Here you go Duane. Enjoy.

This looks pretty cool: http://www.traditionalmusic.co.uk/sc...cal-scales.htm
Better still, there is an iphone app called ScaleMaster. It gives notation and plays the scale
If you're interested in mandolin scales, arpeggios and so on I can suggest this ebook: Mandolin Chord, Scale and Arpeggio Bible. It is a complete referencefor anything you may need.
In the download section you'll find also some free stuff for chords. You need to register to download free ebooks.
Hope you'll find it useful

Duane,
Don't forget FFcP, tab and notation. Don't be put off by the jazz references, shucks (as you guys say) you can even do the exercises three fingered.
Enjoy
On todays MP3 listing a group called The party Sheiks played a rag called "Thake Those Loose Lips Away". Would any have Tab availble by chance? A really enjoyable piece.
Here's an A major scale up the neck with all the modes:
