Scared me... :disbelief:
That's not "the" Tele ("Nancy"), but another he owned....
Spruce, "Nancy" is the guitar on his album "Loading Zone", correct? I thought that this looked different.
Yeah, Nancy was his main axe...
I've got a whole gob of pics here somewhere...
I was going to make a copy for a friend, saw it at the Fender museum, and snapped some pics....

Surprising how good of shape it's in considering what it went through...
Didn't even have a case for quite a few years....
Tommy Gun ! love Roy , can`t afford that axe though
I remember seeing "Nancy" in a guitar shop in Maryland. Nancy had the "bullet" hole in the headstock. Rumored to have been put there by Roy to hang on the wall.
I got to see Roy in Pittsburgh opening up for Mahavishnu Orchestra with Jean Luc Ponty - quite a night!
I saw Roy at Winterland, back in the day.........man.......that cat could play!!! :disbelief:
Too bad there aren't more recordings........has anything come out in the last 5 or 7 years?
I remember trying out all I could find on CD at one point.
