I'm running my Tomo through a Univox U-45B and when we gig I am using 3 pedals for most all I do.
Primarily I use my Mooer Blues Mood for about 80% of the music we do. The other songs also include a Mooer Flex Boost and some also get my Morley Classic Wah and a Digitech Whammy 4

I run my mandostrat through a silver face Princeton with a 12 inch Celestion Vintage 30 and I use a Catalinbread Echorec, a tube screamer, a Keeley Phase 24, a Blackout Effectors Musket fuzz, a Cry Baby wah, a Arc Effects klon clone, a Ditto nlooper in addition to the EHX B-9 organ pedal. This set up really helps me nail that old school bluegrass sound on stage!;)

Y'Ha DG Stomp, a Multi EFX pedal board, as a External Loop out and Back Into My Roland AC 60 , also adds a little gain.
Gibson es125t 3/4 5string tenor (joel eckhaus conversion) / schertler pre a iii preamp/ blackstone appliances mosfet overdrive/ t- rex roomate tube reverb/ amptweaker swirlpool vibrato tremolo/ '65 magnatone 431 (or vox valvetronix vt 20+)

I am trying to find just the right 'chorus' to use for some of the mellow hymns we play. Any suggestions?
My favorite chorus pedal by far is the old school Boss CE2. It's not subtle and to tame that you may want a separate blend pedal or even split the signal to a different amp. Just depends on how chorusy you want to sound.Quote:

It is a Uke, I run it as a Mando with the E and octave lower as I am yet to find anything that would stretch enough to be the normal E. For what I am doing, it isn't an issue.
I just realized my Univox amp is 47 years old this month! Dang... I hope it never, ever dies!

My Univox amp is down (just need to go through the entire thing) and I'm using my VOX now. It is one of the ones of the sampling amps. It took weeks to get the Univox sound out of it, but now that I have found it, I'm a happy man again. 9 billion settings on the VOX and I'm running it with no effect on it and just the blues setting with all dials for tone at 12 o'clock. Same pedals as before with this set up and it sounds great.
The bonus? It is a bit easier for me to hear myself on stage with this little amp because of the extra watts it can push.

I just added an Analog Fox Tone Machine. Wow, just freaking WOW! If you like vintage rock n roll sound, this thing is awesome! I won't use the octave switch often on a mandolin, but I sure like this pedal.
