I haven't had any issues.
It's probably the same thing I have with static facebook links filling the back arrow column. See the topic facebook connection attempts. I haven't figured out a fix yet.
free download program to clean out the spyware might help. been using Ccleaner for many years. great resource.
I haven't had any problem either. Besides a spyware cleaner, you might consider downloading one of the free registry cleaners to help get rid of a lot of system slowing old files.
I too have experienced the same problem, but it is not just the cafe. Also not every website. Must be the same virus/spyware/ect.
Thanks folks, I'll do that. It's happening on 3 different desktops that I bounce around on. To be more specific; I can back out of a forum topic fine, but whem I try & back out again to choose a new forum, that's when it seems to usually take three tries.
What would we do without confusers ?!
Ccleaner also has a registry cleaner.
go into the options and you can click on the cookies you want to keep (like to save my forums and banking ones to save typing out the same passwords all the time
nfi, just a long time user.
I thought it was only me but in the last couple of months or so (at least, as I've noticed), the back arrow is not working properly for me, and across a couple of computers. I find my self having to go straight to the Forum menu command to change to a new forum. Just the Cafe, no other sites.
Yes. Only on the Cafe though. It's just a minor inconvenience, but still.... Thought it was just my computer. It's interesting to hear of others having the same problem.
Appears to be from what I can tell, a bug limited Internet Explorer according to my research. Charles E., you're using IE because I checked the logs and that's what it's returning. I'm doing some testing with something to see if it resolves the situation. It involves disconnecting the Facebook link that normally appears at the top of the page. Seems this negates the repetitive clicks in IE but only if you flush your disk cache first. Unless you do that the problem will continue. Don't magically expect your IE cache to empty itself. It won't. You have to do it manually.
Thanks Scott.
Problem seems to be gone now for me, using Safari. Thanks, Scott.
That seemed to fix it for me as well, using IE9. Thank you,Scott.
