Once could change their name to "Harold Bright", or simply remove the pickguard. I compromised... remove the pickguard, and name the mandolin Harold. She sounds great and the distress is cool too. One thing I noticed is that the bridge is slightly sagging in the center, and as a result the feet of the bridge are not in full contact with the body... thinking of getting this fixed.. should I?

Yes ! Definately !! Maybe have someone evaluate that heel plate ; could possibly fix it more 'properly' & cosmetically fill the holes. Would look a whole lot prettier. Such a crime to do to such a pretty back . That plate is a huge zit on the Prom Queens face ! :disbelief:
