Hey mike! I'm trying to decide wether to buy a 17 fret or 19 fret deering banjo! I mostly interested in playing Irish traditional music, I have played the fiddle for a couple of years and I know the scale is similar on the 17. I've read all the conversations on this site as well as the session and banjo hangout and I'd like to have your opinion on what u think is best!? I know most players with a few exceptions play 19s their must be a good reason for it! Thanks a bunch man I look forward to hearing from u!
