Stealth replied to a thread Phoenix Bluegrass #429 in Post a picture of your mandolin

Rolfe makes great mandolins. I have Unicorn #2 he made for me in '74 and I still haven't found one that sounds good enough to replace it with.

Biography:: My main mandolin is Unicorn #2 made by Rolfe Gerhardt. Have been a member of Tennessee Valley Authority In San Antonio, Salt Lick in Fort Worth and have recorded with Frank Wakefield, Roland White, Slim Richey, Byron Berline and others. Traveled with Killbilly throught the eastern US and Europe.
Currently jammin' in North Texas.
