I also have a post on here with pics of the mandolin. It's under the "post a pic" thread. I took it by Gordon's last month and to the Perry festival. I've had some nice compliments on it so far. I hope to meet up when we have the time. I've got to set up my shop too. Moving back here and getting settled has been a long tiring ordeal. I plan to build a few more mandolins, I've enjoyed it!
Welcome to Tallahassee! I'm not doing any building these days- I just built the one A model to satisfy my curiosity. I am working on finishing up a dreadnaught guitar that I've been building for about five years now. Figured I better get cracking because it's in my bucket list.
If you're into bluegrass and oldtime, you should go over and acquaint yourself with Gordon's String Music shop. Gordon's a great guy to know.
I'd like to check out your mandolins, but I don't do FaceBook. Is there a way to make the page public so I can have a look?
Hi Rick, I've noticed that you are in Tallahassee and I have just moved here. I'm originally from Thomasville and have recently completed my first F5 build from scratch. I would like to meet up with you one day! Keep in touch! You can also find me on Facebook at Sloan mandolins.--Jason
