Hello fellow newbies, I enjoy practicing with a backing track and having exhausted the the available tracks of the songs I'm currently learning here:http://www.jaybuckey.com/free_tablature.htm I did a little searching of the forums and found this old thread: http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/sh...s-Start-a-List several sites to explore, I'm pretty excited especially about these three: http://www.oldtimejam.com/Jam.html a great resource with many streaming options! http://pegramjam.com/index.html Looks great, you do have to register to access the music files,I'm waiting to hear back from my e-mail request to join. http://flatpickapprentice.blogspot.co.uk/ a lovely all around site with lots of different speed tracks of standard numbers. HAPPY PRACTICING!!
John! Thanks so much for this. I tried out Angeline the Baker on the slowest speed backup track on the flatpickapprentice blogspot site and it was great! While I couldn't keep up completely, I sorta did....so this is great for me right now! I'm sure other Newbies will find this very helpful too! Great share! Karon
That's a great find, John! Looks very useful. And some of our past and present tunes of the month are in there too!
