Last one for today: this is the Victoria Hornpipe, followed by Miss Bennet's Jig. I learned both of these tunes from Nigel Gatherer's site but know nothing about them other than that I enjoy them. The idea of playing them as a set was pure chance -- they were consecutive tunes in one of Nigel's ABC file collections and I happened to print them onto a single page when I learned them. They work well together, though. The recording ends somewhat abruptly -- I lost my place on the last repeat of the B part of the jig and did not have the time or energy to try again. I post it anyway as I had already repeated the entire jig once through, so you're not missing any part of the tune. Here's my Victoria Hornpipe. I played it somewhat slowly, one time through with straight eighth notes, the next time with dotted eighth notes, to give it more of a 'hornpipe' feel. I'm playing this on my Mid-Missouri mandolin.
