Saw Mike and David last night at the Redstone Room in Davenport, Iowa and for you blues hounds y'all make sure you catch them if they're in your area as they can flat pick the blues! Yeah, buddy!!! It was a really fine show. Of course I'm sure most of you already know of their quality and skill but, I thought I'd put a bee in your bonnet about their shows. It's well worth the price of admission, no doubt.
Saw Mike play with Elvis Costello &Sugarcanes on Tues. Nite. Although he mostly played rhythm in this gig, he did a few kick-offs and an awesome bluesy break on one tune. Crowd went wild. He was playing his new Randy Wood 2 point, with built in pickup.
