This evening I recorded "Crazy Creek". I loved that tune since I heared it years ago from Eric Thompson with his band. A few weeks ago I found a mandolinversion played by Tony Williamson. I try to play it a bit like him but of course a lot slower. I played the following chords; ||A-D-|A-D-|A---|C---|C---|C---|C---|E---|E---|A---:|| | F---|F---|C---|C---|F---|F---|C---|E---|
That's a funny time to record a video without a trace of Santa, but the result is very good in spite of that (or just because?). Lively, sunny, hot and dry, exactly what to expect on a dark wet winter's night
That was great. Definitely on the "gotta learn that one" list!
Yup, another good one for the to do list. Well played.
If I turned myself 180 degrees around you would have seen our beautiful Christmastree Bertram, but Crazy Creek is more like a warm sunny day in a wild water canoe to me.. Btw thanks for the compliments. I made a poll tune suggestion for this tune and I hope a lot of members will put it on the to do list.
Well done! It's on my to-do list since you submitted it in the Poll Tune Suggestions thread
