Great stuff, David. I like this tune and the style is really growing on me.
It's so great to have these examples, David. There's not a one you've posted I haven't put on the top of my list to learn. This one has an especially fun and happy bounce to it.
Definitely one of the happier pieces of Mr O'Carolan, and this rendition would have sounded appropriate and becoming in his times just as it does now. Now please reveal to us which of the pictures is Ms Murphy's. I am quite sure the one at 1:32 is Whistler's Mother...
Nice to hear such a dekicate rendition of this lovely tune! WOW! The Sobell sounds mighty fine as do the background instruments, played so tastefully. I used this tune to check out my latest ebay acquisition, a Japanese Torella bowlback. No match for David's Sobell, but I kind of like it...
Nicely done, Turlough would be proud.
Yess CrissCross! That is very very nice!
Lovely version and a great sound from your new mandolin, CC. David, just came across this one; lovely arrangement and playing, as always, and thanks too for the notation.
Thanks a lot! This was my first O'Carolan tune, but I'm sure there will be more in my future.

Oh, I don't think I'd seen this thread before! All nice recordings of this pretty tune.
Thanks Dennis, I changed the thumbnail image to better reflect Carolan’s presumed feelings. -oh, YT copyright doesn’t seem to like the image. TAB:https://www.dropbox.com/s/wb9i8qybyr...L-tab.pdf?dl=0
