    got my first mandolin on Saturday. I've never played any instrument in my life. So I guess I gotta start now.

    Hey, Bear!! How's it going with your new mandolin?? Hal Leonard always has had gread instruction books. I'm using Wayne Erbsen's "Bluegrass Mandolin for the Complete Ignoramus"...also using his "Flatpicking the Guitar for Complete Ignoramuses". Are you having fun? Any trouble spots? Geez...I'm a nosy thing, huh? Hope to hear from you again!
