I sold my Floodtone. Does any of you want to take over administration of the group?
What all would be involved in being the administrator of a group? What responsibilities?
Mostly moderating any posts that were inappropriate. For this site and this group that would be hardly any, so I'd say no work at all unless you need to hand it off. The alternative is deleting the group, which I can also do.
I would hate to see the group go. I love my Floodtone, but I also wonder how much the group will grow since Thomas has only made about 75 instruments. If i were to volunteer to moderate, and I do see an inappropriate post, would I have the power to delete or lock? Or would i just tell Scott? I am curious as to how it would work. I am willing to do a daily monitoring.
Scott will know better than I but I don't think it's a serious responsibility in any case -- it's all Floodtone owners after all. Can I transfer this to you using the built in tool?
Sure, I'll do it. You can private message me if you have anything you need to tell me like passwords or anything.
I've used the Transfer Group tool so I think all you have to do is accept it. On a personal note, I'm sorry I had to sell my Floodtone. Its replacement is a better mandolin, but not in every respect and given that it's 2-3 times the price, the Floodtone may be a better value. Tom has a good thing going.
