learnt this one a few years back at a tenor banjo workshop that Kieran Hanrahan gave at the Feakle Festival - at the time I couldn't read ABC's and had to learn it all off by ear while the rest of the class had ABC's in front of them for guidance. It fell out of my repertoire for awhile but is back in now! Here's the ABC's from thesession.org:

    X: 1
T: Tongs By The Fire, The
    M: 6/8
    L: 1/8

thanks everyone! You know, for awhile my "tenor fever" had abated and I'd thought to meself - "Sure, I've my mandolin and two nice tenor banjos - do I really need a tenor guitar on top of all that?" Well, the answer is a resounding "YES!!!" It's a fantastic addition to the arsenal of GDAE instruments, no buyer's remorse here!!
