I was wondering if there were any other steps or advise to make shopping the classifieds, other then checking the link in the add, and communicating back and forth with the seller, to see if they are legit. I know I sound really paranoid but any tips would be appreciated. I know I can bypass my paranoia by just buying locally, but so many good deals appear on used mandolins.

Sorry if this is a repeat of a question/topic I just want to be more informed and less paranoid.
