The 4 day music camp offers classes in guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, bass, singing, resonator guitar and songwriting to a wide range of musicians and musical abilities.

The Grand Targhee Ski Resort offers mountain accommodations with hotel rooms, RV and Tent Camping facilities, and hearty meals in a world class setting.
The camp takes place the week before the 30th Annual Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival (which will be a blow out worthy of this special anniversary year) and features daily classes, workshops, jamming, student bands, evening performances and the High on the Mountain Top Jam. Students under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Scholarships are available.
Targhee Music Camp director Thomas Sneed revels in the excitement of three decades of great music at Grand Targhee, "We have cultivated an amazing group of music lovers and performers who are willing to go off the beaten path to get to Grand Targhee in Alta, Wyoming every August. By word of mouth, the music camp has become a pilgrimage and a yearly highlight for music lovers and performers."
Targhee Music Camp is running a special through January 10th, that all paid tuitions receive a $100 discount.
The closest airports are Idaho Falls, Idaho and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Salt Lake City, Utah is also an option for some. Yellowstone and Teton National Parks are close by.
