Luthier

Lance Johnson initiated his idea to have a Mandolin Building workshop for adults at the 4-H center in Front Royal, VA. For the past 4 years, many aspiring Luthiers and excellent musicians have attended the workshops given by myself and Niles Hokkanen. We have all made many lifelong friends.
Lance is moving on and the program may be coming to an end after the Spring 2005 workshops are over.
On behalf of Niles, myself and all the other people whose lives you touched, thanks you for all of your efforts, your hard work in making the workshops GREAT, and the opportunity to be a part of it. Your vision has made a difference and helped many people get started in building and playing and we wish you the best of luck. (Do they play mandolin in Alaska?)
