I have been searching tryng to find a clean sound.(havent we all) I play in a church group through the house system and the mandolin I play now has a strip pickup in it. It sounds very thin and tinny.
I just finished building my #002 and it sounds sweet, so I want to try to keep the most natural sound I can.
Playing into a standing mic is pretty much out of the question, its pretty crowded up there.
I have narrowed my choices down to these two,(I think)
I am asking for the experts advice...

Thanks,
Dave

Do a search for this, there have been several threads on this topic.

Just remember: C is for condenser, so you need a phantom powersource, the mixer usually.
D [dyn] is a dynamic mechanisim that doesn't.
XLR plugs for both, but D can be used with xlr>1/4" 3>2 conductor adaptors.
