I am very happy with my Prucha and have recieved two very nice comments. John a repair luthier from McCabes and Mandolin said he thought my F model was as nice if not nicer then a Collings MF5 they had. Guitar legend luthier tool inventer Roy Noble looked at it today and said he thought it had perfect workmanship and sounded like a good older Gibson. In this reference he likes old Gibson Mandolins and he said this compairs with the best he has heard. What has anybody else who played a Prucha have to say about them?

I've known Jarda Prucha for years. He's a great craftsman. I'm sure the choice of materials and workmanship in your mandolin are second to none.

I played a Prucha at IBMA and also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Prucha in person. He is a wonderful person and took lots of time explaining and answering questions. I loved the mandolin, it was one of my favorites that I played. I really handled nicely and the action was smooth and quick. Beautifully balanced tone, as well.

Got my new Prucha F matte from Greg B. today-wow! wow!wow! Did I say wow? What tone and volume right out of the box. Once again, Greg was exacting in his description and impressions of Jarda Prucha's work. I am just as happy with my dealer as I am my instrument. Just buy one, and buy it from Greg Boyd. Period.

I think there is just one flaw in Prucha - he makes banjos too http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Great mando. I love my Prucha F it has great tone and balance. Prucha loves Bluegrass and understands how to make a banjo killer. He should know as he builds what a lot of banjo players consider the best banjo today . He also is a great machinest and supplys parts to Gibson and other American banjo makers. They are all worth a try and compete with all others in thier price range and higher.
Also as many have stated Greg Boyd is the man!
