I am trying to figure out the advantages to tone-bar bracing and a radiused fingerboard on a weber bartooth. I've only played one with x-bracing and flat fingerboard, and it's a beautiful sound. Any advantages to tone-bar and radiused? Thanks for your help...

mandowood - A guy that I give lessons too had ordered one and it came with the x-bracing and he felt it had to mellow of a sound or more of a country sound as he described it. He called the folks at Weber and they suggested sending it back and they replaced it with one that had the tone bar bracing that gave it more of an aggresive sound especially in the chop. I didn't hear the first one with the x-bracing but the one he has now sounds awesome and definitely has a bite to it.
